The FAC580 boosts and stabilises voltage from 12–18V or 24–33V systems. It provides 45–80V output at up to 15A, with input supporting currents up to 45A. The device is compatible with stations featuring a 45–80V DC / ≤15A input; please check your specific model's specifications before connecting.

Conversion efficiency reaches 92%, reducing losses and heating during prolonged operation. The FAC580 features reverse polarity and short-circuit protection. Standby power consumption is below 3W, and the operating temperature range of –20°C to 60°C allows for use in various conditions.

The 182 × 162 × 47mm housing and 0.8kg weight facilitate installation in service cabinets, under seats, or near the battery. Small dimensions help in keeping cable runs short and maintaining order in camper van, van, or service vehicle conversions.

Installation steps.
Connect the cables
Screw the input and output cables to the FAC580. Before installation, check that the device is functioning correctly, then ensure that the input and output cables are properly connected.
Cable routing
Route the input cable from the vehicle to the car battery.
Battery connection
Ensure the FAC580 switch is in the OFF position. Then, connect the input cable to the battery: the red cable to the positive terminal (+), and the black cable to the negative terminal (–).
Mounting
Fix the FAC580 to the vehicle wall in a stable and convenient location.
Power station connection
Connect the power station to the FAC580 using the MC4 cable.
Mode selection and start charging
Mode 1 is recommended while driving and initiates fast charging from the alternator. Mode 2 should be considered an emergency solution when power is needed with the engine off.
